Dr Lisa Hill is an experienced academic editor and researcher. She has taught and researched in Australian universities for 10 years across screen and media studies, communications and cultural studies. In her PhD thesis, Dr Hill explored the intersection between nostalgia, post-feminism and adaptation in screen texts by examining new millennium film adaptations of 1970s television shows. She has since researched and written about popular culture, nostalgia, adaptation, children’s media and onscreen representations of gender.

Dr Hill understands the demands of academia and tertiary study and is passionate about helping both students and academics achieve their learning and publishing goals by ensuring their work is presented in its best possible light. She has edited many graduate research theses, journal articles and grant proposals from the arts, social sciences and humanities, and has a keen interest in developing the written components of creative arts projects.
